A Small Orange, which hosts my website, is running a promotion were theyre selling lifetime services for about two and a half years of fees. They are doing this to help pay for new hardware and other upfront costs. It sounded like a good deal to me so I jumped on it. The only catch is my website will be down for a little while when they move me to a different server and while I update the name servers with the domain registry. Downtime should be minimal and I’ll be notified before any changes are made.

I’m watching Carla & Nates pooch ‘Cody’ afternoons this week while Carla is out of town and Nate is coaching lacross. They’ve been lots of fun. Heres some footage of them playing. Sorry my camera doesn’t do well in low light. File size is 2MB, should be OK for dialup. Click on the picture to play.

Posted by Dave on February 21st, 2006I added a new Videos link to the navigation bar up top. Over the weekend I spent some time and figured out how to get video off my camera to the PC and convert to a format suitable for the web. More videos are sure to be coming soon.
New layout!!
Posted by Dave on February 17th, 2006I’ve spent the last few evenings watching the Winter Olympics and working on a new layout for my website. I took the previous theme and used photoshop to make all new graphics and changed the text colors and backgrounds. Let me know what you think. Next I’ll be working on the Photo album.. but that shouldn’t take long, all the hard work is done.
Feeling not so green
Posted by Dave on February 10th, 2006I like the layout of this WordPress theme that you are seeing now, but I’ve grown very tired of the green colors. I think I’m going to change it to shades of blue. For the picture at the top, I’d like to make it look like a little reef aquarium.
Photo Album
Posted by Dave on February 10th, 2006I’ve got this page back looking like it did before. The wordpress upgrade made it easier to post content to the site, it really did add anything that you guys will notice.
The Photo Album will have to be reinstalled… I think something wierd happened when I updated it last month from Gallery 1.5 to 2. Should take me just a short time to do the reinstall, but I’m going to do a clean install and will have to resubmit all the pictures. Might be a few days before its back to working like it was.
NOTE: THE PHOTO ALBUM IS CURRENTLY DOWN. I HOPE TO HAVE IT BACK UP IN A FEW DAYS.
