Hey everyone… I know i haven’t posted here in ages and I want to get back into keeping up with the blog.

I’ve been keeping busy with work and other projects.  Currently I’m designing a website for a friend who works in the DC area as a Makeup artist.  Be sure to check it out soon at http://www.PaulaGordley.com/

Soon I have some great ideas for changes to make to this website.  I’ll be keeping WordPress.. Its an incredibly flexible and well supported content management system, not just limited to blogging anymore.  I plan on getting rid of the gallery as it exists now and using something better integrated with WP.

Tony and Lynn tied the knot on Saturday October 13th in Savage Minnesota. I was honored to be asked to be a groomsman along with my other brother Rob. It was also marked the first time Ingrid and my parents had met. The weather for the day of the wedding was fantastic, and the wedding was beautiful. Tony and Lynn are absolutely perfect together! They are currently enjoying a cruise in Hawaii.

In preparation of posting pictures from Tony and Lynn’s wedding I finally got around to fixing some issues with my photo album yesterday. It turns out the problem was that I had updated Gallery 2 to a version that was not compatible with the theme I was using. I attempted to bypass some code and somewhere really messed things up. Ultimately I had to reinstall and lost of my photo descriptions, but I was smart enough to back up all my pictures. There a couple of little things that are left to do, but for the most part its finished.

One of my favorite authors, Robert Jordan passed away yesterday. I read several books from his Wheel of Time series back when I was in the army, and started rereading them about a month ago. He writes fantasy, with sort of a Tolken type feel to it. I will miss his work along with many others. Visit his Blog here : www.dragonmount.com/RobertJordan.

I spent the past weekend visiting Ingrid in Atlanta. Saturday evening we went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean. Sunday we spent with her family and Monday I did some work out at her mom’s house while Ingrid was at work. She got me an extremely nice pair of Oakley sunglasses for my birthday :)

There was a fire in my condo complex today in one of the buildings about 500 feet from my place. From what I saw the fire was contained in the 2nd floor unit, but the units above and below sustained quite a bit of water damage. It was already put out when I got home from work, but you could see the scorch marks on the bricks and all the windows were busted. Its hard to imagine losing your home, I really feel bad for these folks. Here are some pictures I took while walking Tucson.
